Going to China

If you would like to visit or even settle down in China, you should first prepare the required administrative documents. Of course, you have to hold a valid passport or have it renewed if it has expired. There are different types of visas for long-term stays; corresponding to the purpose of your trip to China.

The Z visa is an employment visa for expatriates, foreigners sent on secondment contracts by a company, and their family, or new hires who have found a job after arriving in China.

Students and interns who plan to stay in China for over six months need the X Visa while professionals on business trips shorter than six months need the D Visa.

Get in touch with the closest Chinese embassy or consulate to get a maximum amount of information on the conditions to obtain the different visas, work permits, heath insurance, and vaccinations.
